From High School Buzz to Big Ambitions: A Don2trill Interview

Q. Good day, Don2trill!
We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?

A. I would describe my sound to someone who has never heard it before as very surreal. The combination of my distinctive lyrics over hard, ambient beats creates a sound that is unforgettable.

Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?

A. A song in my catalog that defines me artistically would be “Ain’t You.” I believe that I put a lot of feeling into it, and the beat is a real vibe, which is probably why it’s one of my more popular songs.

Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

A. If I could collab with any artist right now living or dead, it would have to be Lil Uzi Vert. I take a lot of inspiration from him when it comes to making music.

Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?

A. The biggest risk I’ve taken in my career would be dropping my first EP in high school, while recording it all through BandLab using iPhone headphones as a microphone.

Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?

A. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to my music, everyone should know that it’s easy to listen to when you’re not thinking too hard. Don’t hate, just listen and vibe.
