A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as emotionally raw and relatable, with some quick punchlines, but overall it’s just speaking from the heart about my experiences and how I think about the things that go on around me.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist? Why that one?
A. I think a specific song that would define who I am as an artist is my track ‘Trenches’ off of my new album “The Influence”. It really just has my swag behind the way I flowed on the beat, and I think I was spitting a lot of my ideology about my life in it.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. If I could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, I would want to collaborate with Lucki. I think we could make some of the best music. I would say he’s one of my top artists of all time.
Q. What's the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. I would say the biggest risk I’ve taken in my career so far is my decision to not follow the trends in my city and just make the music I like to make. It’s like everything is starting to kind of be watered down because there are so many people doing the same thing in the same way, so I just try to stay authentically me and create my art from the soul.
Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?
A. If this interview was the last thing people read before listening to my music, I would tell them I tried to really create something from nothing. If the readers want to know me, they just have to listen deeply to my songs. I hope they listen to the real creation.
