Q. Good day, 14HUN E4RLY! We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?
A. I would describe my sound to someone who’s never heard my music before as a grimy underground mix of drill, rage, and distorted energy. Music that makes you active and gets your emotions running. There’s also soft, melodic, catchy music too.
Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist?
A. When it comes to a specific song in my catalog that I feel defines who I am as an artist, my current song “Models Now" strongly aims for the soft melodic aesthetic I’m trying to be perceived with, stepping away and setting me apart from drill.
Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?
A. An artist I could see myself collaborating with all the time would have to be Playboi Carti. I've been bumping him since 2015—that's the type of rap evolution I want to have, impacting the course of music for years to come.
Q. What has been the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?
A. The biggest career risk I’d say I took was going through that corny phase — people being like, ‘Oh wow, he’s a rapper now,’ and not really perceiving it well. But now it’s become the norm for me, and it was worth it in the long run because music is always associated with me now.
