Where Street Energy Meets Fun and Authenticity: An Interview With Blizzy Skrrt

Q. Good day, Blizzy Skkrt!
We appreciate you taking the time to speak with us. The first thing we want to know is, how would you describe your sound to someone who’s never heard your music before?

A. I would describe my sound as someone who’s a trapper's trapper and a rapper’s rapper, someone who makes music for the streets but also has fun with it.

Q. Is there a specific song in your catalog that you feel defines who you are as an artist?

A. When it comes to a specific song in my catalog that I would say defines me as an artist, it would be my first video that has reached a million views, called 'Chainsmoke,' and that song embodied who I really am, and cool points are me every day. Roll the spliff and then I slide real sh*t lol

Q. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would it be and why?

A. If I had the opportunity to collaborate with any artist, dead or alive, it would be Young Dolph because he put his whole hood and community on, and I’m trying to do the exact same thing as well with my music.

Q. What has been the biggest risk you've taken in your career so far, and what did you learn from it?

A. The biggest risk that I’ve taken in my music career so far is f***ing with people, trusting people, and also making the wrong decisions, but such is life, and that goes for any line of work.

Q. If this interview was the last thing someone read before listening to your music, what would you want them to know?

A. If this interview was the thing someone read before they gave my music a listen, I would tell them that Blizzy loves you. If you ever met me, you would know that for sure, and thank you for giving me a chance; I won’t let you down. Skkrttt”
